  16.  XLATEGED solves a minor problem which may be encountered by DOS based
  17. geneologists who receive GEDCOM files produced on non-DOS systems.
  18. Some systems separate GEDCOM lines with a CR character (decimal 13 or 0Dh),
  19. instead of the LF character (dec 10 or 0Ah) expected by DOS. Such files
  20. present problems when you try to PRINT or TYPE them, or use any ASCII-based
  21. text editor or browser.

  23.  XLATEGED simply makes a copy of the original file, changing CRs to LFs.

  25.  XLATEGED will prompt for the filespec of the file to be copied, and then
  26. the name of the copy. If the output file already exists, you will be asked
  27. if you want to overwrite the old version.
